Join Bitter & Esters and Fifth Hammer Brewing on Sunday, July 9th @ 4:45 pm for a private foraging tour of Prospect Park with Steve “Wildman” Brill.

We’ll be meeting at the stone benches near the Grand Army Plaza entrance.

This four hour tour will focus on edible plants available in Prospect Park, with an emphasis on plants that can be used in brewing beer!

This will be a fun and very informative event even if you are not a brewer.

We are hoping homebrewers will take their newfound knowledge and brew a beer using ingredients they’ve foraged. This beer can then be served at Fifth Hammer Brewing on Saturday August 19th at a free event where we will be welcoming Stan Hieronymus, author of Brewing Local, American-grown beer. Stan will be talking about brewing with local ingredients and signing copies of his book.

Tickets are only $20 and are available here. We need to sell 30 tickets to make this happen so sign up today!
